Sr. Designer
Design awesome Bitcoin things across Coinkite's brands, products, websites, education material, packaging, and weird internet experiments. This is a hands-on senior design role for someone who understands Bitcoin culture and can turn rough product ideas into sharp, useful, memorable work.
What you'll do
- Lead visual design across Coinkite product brands, launches, websites, campaigns, and education material.
- Create product visuals, web pages, diagrams, packaging concepts, icons, merch, and meme-native assets.
- Help shape new product concepts by bringing clear design judgment to hardware, industrial design, UX, and launch planning.
- Improve and maintain existing Coinkite web properties without sanding off the weird parts of the brand.
- Work directly with founders, engineering, and marketing to turn rough ideas into shipped public work.
What we're looking for
- Strong visual taste and a portfolio that shows real shipped design work.
- Bitcoin-native judgment: you understand self-custody, hardware wallets, and the culture around them.
- Ability to design for both serious security products and fun nerdy internet brands.
- Good written English and enough product sense to simplify technical ideas for customers.
- Comfortable working independently, taking feedback, and shipping without a big agency process.
Nice to haves
- Git/GitHub familiarity.
- Comfortable editing simple HTML/CSS or working close to developers.
- Vim enjoyer, meme maker, hardware nerd, or all of the above.

Coinkite is a 10+ year-old self-funded Bitcoin company. We focus primarily on hardware security devices, but also sell a number of specialized or novelty products related to Bitcoin. Our custom electronics are built in Toronto, Canada, and we sell direct from our web store to the world. Our customers count on us to protect their Bitcoin against theft, and we take that responsibility seriously.
